| When you signed up, you selected a "user name".
This name is all-inclusive on the qcislands net ltd system. It is your
"user name", it is your "account name", it is your
"email name", and it is even your "account NUMBER". For bill
payment purposes some agencies such as the
Northern Savings Credit Union ask
for an "account number" to reference for paying bills. We do not use
numbers! Your "account name" is all you need. |
| Your "email name" requires the name of our
computer to make it a complete "email address". |
| So for an example, we will pretend that you selected the name of "clementine" as your "email name". Your email address would look like: |

You will need to let us know which name you have decided on, and we will perform the appropriate setup so that the email address will work for you. |
| You must enter the incoming and
the outgoing SMTP server names exactly as they appear above depending
on which name you have selected. |
| Please remember that IMAP is the superior and therefore prefered selection to make in your email program. We are more than happy to walk you thru the setup if you would like some help with it. |
